As we are a new company, we want to offer special savings to our first Members.
We understand that you may be cautious trying something new, and we appreciate your interest to serve this growing segment of the American marketplace. We also want you to stay with us for a full year, as our User base will grow slowly at first.

The Special Introductory Offer is for the BASIC Membership for a single location only - similar discounts are availbale for chains, franchises and corporations. If you join during this special introductory period, your 12-month Membership will not begin until we officially launch the advertising to the User base (scheduled for November 2008). We want to have a well established Membership before launching the User portion of the service. See Pricing

Chain, Franchise and Corporate Membership:
The initial listing is still just $395 and then only $149 for each additional location (up to 20) of the same name. Please note that all of your locations of the same name must subscribe to Membership. If you own more than one restaurant and they are of different names, each would need to be its own Member.

As a Member Restaurant of THE FOOD ALLERGY FRIENDLY NETWORK, you will be able to provide a level of service to those of us for who dining out has become more of a complication than an enjoyable experience. If this sounds interesting, you should consider Membership.

As a Chef in one of our Member Restaurants, a whole new world of creativity and food preparation challenges is set before you. For some, listing menu items that naturally do not contain food allergens may be enough, (such as a steak, baked potato and a steamed vegetable). However, the best of you will want to experiment and create. Do you think you could prepare a pasta dish made with garbanzo bean flour instead of wheat? A cream sauce with no dairy? An Asian inspired grilled tuna without soy sauce? And a dessert? Desserts without food allergens are some of the most difficult to create (and most sought after). If this sounds interesting, you should consider Membership.

As a Member Restaurant you will be able to tap into the millions of Americans with food allergies, attracting them to your restaurant. Future customers are literally waiting and searching for a restaurant that will provide them with an enjoyable dining experience. If this sounds interesting, you should consider Membership.

Your small Membership fee is pooled together with all of our other national Members of Restaurants, Retailers and Food Products. THE FOOD ALLERGY FRIENDLY NETWORK then buys targeted national advertising to direct people with food allergies to search for YOU, our Members. Every product in every store that features the Food Allergy Friendly logo advertises the Network and search directory. Every Member Restaurant advertises the Network to help people find the stores to buy the products. Nowhere else can this small annual fee get you as much return on your targeted advertising dollar.

What your Membership Includes:
All restaurant Members receive the Restaurant Membership Starter Kit, which includes:

• Six retail sized containers of Mad Flavor Foods Spice Blends. These are made in facilities that do not process peanuts or tree nuts and will never be made using the most common food allergens or any chemical preservatives or flavor enhancers. These should be offered or used upon request of the food allergy customer. The six seasonings will be:
  • Season salt
  • Potato
  • Steak
  • Chicken, pork & lamb
  • Fish & Seafood
  • Salad
• These spices will be available in retail sources to the public. Each container will advertise that they are available at Restaurant Members of THE FOOD ALLERGY FRIENDLY NETWORK – these advertise the search directory to find YOU!
• A window cling that identifies you as a Member of THE FOOD ALLERGY FRIENDLY NETWORK. This is to be placed in your front window where you advertise your credit card acceptance.
• Free on-line training for as many staff members as you want trained. Note, there must always be one Food Allergy Friendly trained staff member on site during business hours. Hard copy training materials will be provided free upon request only.

• In cities/regions with multiple Member restaurants, all PLUS Members will have their restaurants listed in bold.
• PLUS Members will also be moved to the top of the list, rather than alphabetically.
• In cities/regions with multiple PLUS Member restaurants, these will also be listed alphabetically, but above all BASIC members.

Includes all of the PLUS Membership plus:

• Your restaurant can post its logo or link on the Food Allergy Friendly Network homepage. (limited space)
• Best suited for national chains or large market areas such as New York, Miami, etc.

Mini-Page Add On:
Many small business restaurants have chosen not to have their own web pages due to a variety of reasons:

• Basic web development costs
• Basic web hosting costs
• Search word advertising costs

As you can see, assuming your restaurant’s domain name is available, a simple web page can be costly, and without effective search word advertising, it may rarely even be found by prospective customers.

For these reasons, THE FOOD ALLERGY FRIENDLY NETWORK can offer an interesting and beneficial service. Now that you are already listed on a network of specific targeted restaurants, with effective search word advertising, niche web advertising and print advertising as well as city search location, the next step is to be able to provide more web-based information to the customer who just found you on our network. An address and a phone number is a start, but a link to your menu options, photos of your restaurant and more information will help to attract them to your restaurant.

For an additional fee to either your BASIC, PLUS or PREMIUM Membership you will receive:

• Information about your restaurant
• Single Photo or Logo
• A listing of your food allergen-alternative menu items
• Space for other menu items or special information you want listed

Additional Services

We can offer the assistance of our staff nutritionist and culinary arts specialist to create a personalized Food Allergy Friendly menu that matches the unique theme and character of your restaurant. This can range from remote assistance via email and phone or personalized on-site assistance with your staff in your kitchen.
